Whether starting a new home from the ground up or renovating an existing home, Palmetto Home Designs listens to what each client wants and works to transform their dream home ideas into a design that meets their budget requirements.  From woodsy cottages nestled in the North and South Carolina mountains to elegant beachfront vacation homes, Palmetto Home Designs has the ability to transform each client’s vision of their dream home into a high quality home design with full construction drawings.

Established in 2003, Palmetto Home Designs began as a part-time freelance business and, through word of mouth advertising from satisfied customers, quickly grew into a full service, custom residential drafting company.

Tonya began drafting in AutoCAD in 1995 while working in powerboat design for OMC (Outboard Marine Corporation) and, later, for Boston Whaler.   In 1999, Tonya moved into architectural drafting working as a lead draftsperson for a prominent Midlands architect. The architectural field is a perfect fit for Tonya’s bachelor’s degree in fine arts and minor in art history including the history of architecture.
